My draft and editing:

Published writing:Sweet when I heard that coasteering was a water activity I was really excited.
I strolled down to the wet suit shed to get our wet suits, helmets and life jackets
on.
We jumped in cars and drove down to the sea to learn how to jump off rocks safely.
I saw the rock we were jumping off, it looked like a tiny mouse.
But then I got to the top and I felt like a giant.
It was a little scary at first but then I remembered value be brave so I jumped and it really
wasn't that bad and I wanted to do it again unfortunately we weren't allowed because the
waves were like monsters and unsafe.
The group scattered up the hill back to the vans and revved our way back to the camping
grounds.
My reflection and next step:
Camp was very fun and I think my writing was pretty ok.
My next step is to do more complex sentences.
Benjamin, I like the way you have used some language features such as similes in your story to add interest. You have also chosen some interesting words such as 'scattered' to add more interest to your story also.
ReplyDeleteYour next step is to build on your details and add more information to paint a really clear picture in the readers mind.
